A little dated and basic but clean, comfortable and staff were friendly. The pool is small but has an added feature of water dragons. Under cover carparking was an unexpected bonus. Easy access to the precinct 24 hour. Lots of facilities including laundry and dryer. The location is near UQ, so it is suitable if you are attending an event in the university. But it is also close to the train station so basically you can go anywhere from this place easily, especially the city. The wifi is not free though. If you book from the web, the check in and check out procedure is extremely easy, it just takes seconds. Also if you are planning to check out late outside the service hour (7am/8am on holiday-6pm), make sure to notify the motel so a very easy late check in procedure could be arranged for you.

Otherwise not that conveniently located other than a short distance to river cat stop. Rooms were very basic, slightly dusty and musty so needs some airing. Showers a bit old but worked well enough with some adjustments. Toilet Cosy with knees banging into cabinet for those on the talk side. Equipped with enough amenities to make a good value long term stay - kitchenette laundry and balcony. Good arrival and after hours instructions. There are hire bikes located just outside and close to good cycle routes. Go Hiking – Lace up your boots and walk off your kilojoules on one of the many ( up to 350) hiking trails up the mountain. The first section of the hike is a steep ascent that provides a great warm-up for hikers. You may be tempted to take the Platteklip Gorge route, which is the most direct one, but it's also the most challenging one and not recommended for beginners. While the Skeleton Gorge via Maclear's Beacon route affords matchless panoramic views over False Bay, the Circular walk to Maclear's Beacon passes by the quieter parts of the mountain without much effort. There are some other trails that can be accessed from the Constantia Nek, Cecilia Park, Newlands Forest, and Rhodes Memorial. Try Adventure Activities – Thrill-seekers would love to climb through some routes of varying degrees of difficulty to the summit. There are various routes with certain difficulty levels. If you fancy abseiling, then step off the cliffs and plunge into pure vertical space. Wynberg Caves, Bat's Cave, and Smuggler's Cave are the famous caves that allow caving and cave scrambling.

I have spent about 3 hours today ringing the Brunel University Accomodation Office, and all i get is a ringing tone until my phone cuts off after 3 minutes. Has anyone actually managed to get through to them today, and if so, what did they say? Have they allocated all of their rooms? I was told on Tuesday morning that the rooms were gonna be allocated over tuesday and wednesday, but as of now (almost 6pm BST) I have heard absolutely nothing. I need to know one way or the other, cause ive got all my clothes laid out on my floor waiting to be packed, and i dont know whether to pack or to get on the phone to the only other person going to RHUL from my school to try and sleep on his floor for freshers week. Yeh, I'm in a similar situation, except I sent my application off today. So far, they've only responded with a confirmation that they received my e-mail and that they will get back to me within 48 hours if I am succesful. But unlike you, I don't know anyone at RH, so at the moment, I'm looking at coming later than everyone else, which -from what I hear- is an ass.
